If children learn to have self-esteem, they will be empowered in their lives and will have the confidence in facing challenges and embark on their endeavours. It has been observed that children with high self esteem will continually strive to achieve their dreams, face challenges coming their way in order to succeed. Parents are advised that the first thing to help their children have high self esteem is to show their unconditional love and acceptance. Mindfulness is another skill that a child has to learn.
